Starbucks Remodel and Temporary Closure to Begin This Weekend

Rendering of the updated exterior and expanded patio to be completed by early December.

The Del Rio Starbucks located on the corner of Veterans and Chevrolet will be temporarily closed beginning Sunday, October 6, 2024 as the estimated $500,000 remodel begins. The remodel will take about 6 weeks to complete and the store is expected to reopen just in time for the holidays, if all goes according to schedule, the first week of December.

Rendering of the remodeled interior provided by Starbucks management.

The upcoming improvements and renovations will include an intuitive and customizable layout, new brewing machines, point of sales systems, power-operated doors, updated partition and finishes, new lighting installations, modern furniture and fixtures, inspiring artwork, digital menu boards, and visual customer order confirmation.

The remodel will also address many equipment and technology issues that the nearly 10 year old store has faced in recent months.

Starbucks Del Rio baristas and management are "excited for the long anticipated upgrades and look forward to serving the community again soon.”
