Murphy USA To Open Stand-Alone Convenience Store In Del Rio

Long recognized for its fuel kiosks in front of Walmart stores, Murphy USA has stepped into a new era with its new stand-alone convenience store format. As part of the company’s 2025 nationwide expansion, Del Rio is set to receive one of these modern full-service locations.

The new 2,817-square foot stand-alone concept from Murphy USA will be located at 207 Bedell Avenue. This innovative model will provide a more spacious shopping experience, featuring an expanded selection of snacks, beverages, and everyday essentials, while maintaining the reliable fuel service that customers have come to trust.

The construction of the $1.2 million project is expected to commence in August, with completion scheduled for December.

Murphy USA's other location in Del Rio is at 2427 Veterans Blvd.

Today, Murphy USA operates over 1,596 fuel stations nationwide.
