FAMILY VIOLENCE ARREST

On June 2, 2024 at approximately 4:18p.m. the Del Rio Police Department responded to the 400 block of Pitaya Lane for a disturbance. Upon arrival police met with the caller / victim who reported a known household member caused bodily injury during a verbal disagreement.

The victim had visible injuries to the stomach and back areas consistent with the details provided to police.

The suspect identified as Lorenzo Davila, 38- yrs. old who was at the scene was arrested and charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury Family Violence. An Emergency Protective Order was requested on behalf of the victim.

Davila was transported to the police station where he was processed and was later released to the custody of GEO Correctional Facility.
