Bryan Orlando Salazar, age 29, was arrested 5 times within one week, twice on the same day. All arrests were made by 5 different DRPD officers. Each of Salazar’s 5 arrests involved public intoxication and they all occurred somewhere along Veteran’s Boulevard. First, he was drinking inside the Dollar General. 2 days later, he was drunk and displaying disorderly behavior inside the Sirloin Stockage, stole the black-and-red birthday sombrero, and continued causing disorder in the roadway down Veterans. He was arrested twice the next day for being drunk and stealing from stores, and again the following day.

In the morning on 3/21, reports say Salazar had “stolen several items and verbally accosted” the employee at Murphy USA (2427 Veterans Blvd. location). He was found with a “forty-ounce bottle of beer and pair of sunglasses” concealed on his person, admitted to the theft, and the arrested officer said due to his inebriated state, he was “detained for his own safety.” Later that day, he was released and then immediately arrested again. In the evening on 3/21, reports say Salazar was reported to the police for being at Walmart since “already having a criminal trespass warning at the location.” He was found with a “32oz Corona beer tucked inside his pants leg.” By the 5th arrest on 3/22, he was also charged with “resisting arrest search or transport.”
