Connect Del Rio's Guide to Halloween 2024

Looking for last-minute events or trick or treating this weekend? Look no further! 

Here are a few events and businesses that will be hosting trunk or treats, handing out candy, haunted houses, and other Halloween events on October 31st across the city: 

– The City of Del Rio, sponsored by H-E-B and BFCU, will be hosting its annual Trick or Treat Haunted House at City Hall located at 108 W. Broadway St. on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 3-5pm. 

– The Haunting and Del Rio Main Street Program will be hosting a block party on Thursday, October 31, 2024 from 6-10pm on South Main St. and will include a Haunted House, Trunk or Treating, Music, Food, Snacks, and Vendors. 

From 5-6pm the Main Street Program will be holding a Trunk or Treat, then from 6-7pm the Trunk or Treat will be held by Premier High School and a Trunk or Treat will be held by Leo’s Wrecker Service from 7-8pm

The Haunted House will be located at 120 S. Main St accepting $5 donations per entry Live Music and Vendors including: La Mexicanita Aguas Frescas and Snacks, Da MailMan, El Tacon Madre, Sharky’s Shaved Ice, Flash Fusion Customized Gifts and Products, Tacos El Gordo, and more. 

There will be a costume contest with cash prizes for the top 3 winners: 

1st place - $100 cash

2nd place - $50 cash

3rd place - $25 cash 

Entries will start at 5pm until 10pm - to enter text 830-719-0169 or stop by and take a picture in front of the huge halloween backdrop. Winners will be selected and announced Friday, November 1st. All ages are welcome to participate! 

– Raspa King located at 600 N. Bedell will be handing out candy and gift bags on Halloween starting at 5pm until sold out. 

– A Trunk or Treat will be held for families on base hosted by Laughlin Family Housing from 4-6pm at the Community Center Parking Lot on the Laughlin Airforce Base on Thursday, October 31, 2024. 

– Casa Blanca by Beyond the Decor will be hosting their Scream Fest Haunted House on Halloween Night from 6-11pm at 4730 Veterans Blvd. $5 per guest and free candy at the door! 

– Money Link Financial Services will be hosting a Trunk or Treat in partnership with the Val Verde Regional Medical Center EMS team on October 31, 2024 from 4-6pm at 100 Center Dr.
