City of Del Rio Opens Cooling Center Due to Excessive Heat Warnings

Due to an excessive heat warning and expected temperatures of 105 degrees or higher for more than two consecutive days, the City of Del Rio will open a cooling center at the Transportation Center. The cooling center will be open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, starting tomorrow and continuing through Friday.

We encourage residents to take advantage of this facility to stay safe and cool during this extreme heat event.
