BURGLARIES ON THE RISE

The Del Rio Police Department has seen an increase in vehicle burglaries throughout different parts of the city. Statistics have shown no favorable time of the day or certain locations for these incidents.

The vehicle burglaries are occurring in residential and commercial areas. Police has determined most of the affected vehicles were left unsecured by their owners.

Thefts and burglaries are often crimes of opportunity the first step to prevent a car break-in is SIMPLE.
