Aguas De Los Cielos Serves Up Free Drinks to All Graduating Seniors

It was a scorching hot Friday, May 24, 2024, as Seniors from Del Rio High School flooded Plaza Del Sol Mall for some refreshing free aguas! Cynthia Gutierrez, owner of Aguas de los Cielos, set up shop at the mall to accommodate the increased traffic to the business!

"Four years ago my daughter graduated high school and that's when I started doing everything and getting together with the community to give out these free aguas (for the seniors)." Gutierrez shares. Many of the soon-to-be graduates were excited and thankful for the refreshing beverages. "It's something to cool us off." one Senior says, "and it's really nice of them to do all this stuff for us after graduating." The event is a partnership with sponsors from other local businesses and Aguas De Los Cielos themselves.

Aguas de los Cielos continues to be a community favorite, loved by many locals. Many who recently voted for the business to be Connect Del Rio's business of the month for May. Last year the event had such a long line it took up a huge portion of Veterans Blvd. which shows just how popular and known this event is.

"Congratulations, very proud of y'all, and keep up keep striving and the sky is the limit!" Gutierrez shares as her message to this year's graduating seniors.
